Here is, as it were, the updated version of the 1988 album “Dave Grusin Collection,” this time including repertoire through 1993.

Released in 1998, It is all solid quality Dave Grusin material.   Whether or not one would say that these are the eleven best tracks up to the “Two Worlds” album will differ with each fan.  But priceless they are nevertheless.

Without getting too specific, it is hard to imagine a retrospective which includes nothing from the masterpiece “Gershwin Connection," but we will let that matter rest with the pronouncement that this album is definitely 53 minutes of extraordinary jazz.
